Black Hole Bodhisattva S1E1
A Serialized Metaphysical Sci-Fi Saga Including Aliens & Advanced Tech
Bastion popped into my life about 15 years ago. He was just a relatively normal North American boy of 14. After he confided in me, he seemed a little strange, probably because he told me he had ‘super vivid dreams’ where he flew and met up with strange beings. He was confused and shy about his weird dreams, afraid of being ridiculed. I did feel some compassion for him, maybe It was empathy because I could relate. I took him under my wing, thinking I might help guide him to a more mature and stable state. Maybe I could help until he decided to fly off to some other strange place. Some boys tend to wander. But as it is said; “All who wander are not lost”.
After meeting with him a few times he seemed to know so much more than a kid his age should know. On the other hand, he was quite insecure. This is what opened my heart to him. He reminded me of my ‘coming of age’ time.
Bastion never knew who I was, until that day he found out about the Reality of things. That was the start of a whole new chapter in both of our lives, putting it mildly. I had no idea what I was in for when I befriended him. The last 15 years are quite a blur because of the sheer volume of unusual happenings surrounding Bastion. I will try to tell you as much as I remember. I’m sorry but my memory isn’t what it used to be. I’m getting old so that’s my excuse. The other thing is, that you may notice some strangeness in my speech. This is my 2nd language so forgive me my foibles.
Authors Note: I’ve been mulling this story in my mind for almost two decades. So this has had a lot of time to steep in the hot water that is my imagination. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
The story is only slightly biographical as I draw from my own life experiences, but all characters and incidents are fictional. In this story, I introduce ideas and understandings about subjects such as sociology, psychologies, metaphysics, ancient religions, mysticism, and human transformation, all of which I’ve studied for about 50+ years.
Other than that, it’s a sci-fi, mystery, hero’s journey type of story. Bastion runs into all kinds of struggles on his way to growing up and finding his “purpose in life”. As they say, “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”. We’ll see about that.
In celebration of the launch of this story, I am offering a simple $1 a month subscription to all of my content behind the paywall. Dreamers Dilemma
Intense vibrations rattled his body, and the sound of motorboats pulsed in his inner ear. “Holy crap not now!” he thought, but Bastion knew it was happening again. He readied himself and worked to wrap calm reassurance around the fear impulse that he always got from his body when he started floating. The book he read told him how to respond if he wanted to gain control of his lucid dream. Now he could see / sense? his body below him as it lay quietly in the bed, as well as the ceiling nearby. His intention drew him aloft as the ceiling became transparent and he ascended toward the stars.
“I have no idea where to go”, Bastion was apprehensive but determined to transcend the fear impulse and stay here in this strange place.
The continuation of Episode 1 is coming soon.
